Our Program 我們的課程
We believe that Catholic religious education is not just about gaining knowledge, but a journey that shapes your child's heart and faith. Through lessons rooted in Scripture, the sacraments, and Church teachings, children will grow closer to God while developing moral values such as love, empathy, and integrity. By joining our program, they will deepen their understanding of the faith, explore their spirituality, ask questions, and build a lifelong relationship with Christ within a supportive community. We invite you to enroll your children, so they may learn to know, love, and serve the Lord!

First Holy Communion 初領聖體聖事
Jesus gives us the gift of Himself in the Eucharist! Like all the sacraments of the Catholic Church, the Eucharist is an encounter with Jesus Christ. It is the “source and summit” of all sacramental encounters with our Lord. The Eucharist is the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ; it is Christ Himself.
耶穌在聖體聖事中把祂自己作為禮物賜給我們！就如同天主教會的所有聖事一樣，聖體聖事是與耶穌基督的一次相遇。它是我們與主相遇的「泉源與高峰」。 聖體聖事是真實的基督——耶穌基督的聖體與寶血、靈魂與天主性；祂就是聖體本身。
Students in the First Communion class will prepare to receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time at their First Holy Communion at the end of the school year.

Sacrament of Confirmation 堅振聖事
“The sacrament of Confirmation is the full outpouring of the Holy Spirit as once granted to the apostles on the day of Pentecost” (CCC 1302). It is in the Sacrament of Confirmation that we called to experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to strengthen us for our mission of spreading and defending our faith. 「堅振聖事是聖神的圓滿傾注，就如同在五旬節那天賜予宗徒們的一樣。」（《天主教教理》1302條）在堅振聖事中，我們被召叫去經驗聖神的傾注，以堅強我們的信德，使我們能履行傳播和捍衛信仰的使命。
Students in the 7th and 8th grade classes (2-year program) will prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at the end of the school year in their 8th grade year.七年級和八年級的學生（兩年制課程）將在八年級學年結束時，準備領受堅振聖事。

Religious Education for children for 2025-2026
Family is our kids' first mini-church. As parents it is our duty to bring Religious Education to our kids both in our homes and in formal Religious Education (RE). We hope that you will register your Pre-K to 12th Grader in Catholic RE Class and make sure to take them to Mass each Sunday. Our Lady of China Rockville and Kuang-Chi Chinese School will host RE classes during 2025-2026 school year. We are still looking for teachers for some of the classes that are TBD. Please pray about if God is calling you to volunteer this year to pass on the faith to our children! First day of RE class is Saturday September 13, 2025.家庭是我們孩子的第一個小教會。 作為父母，我們有責任帶給與孩子家庭中和教室中的宗教教理。我們希望您能找到一種方法，讓您的Pre-K 至 12 年級學生註冊天主教宗教教理班並在每週日帶他們參加彌撒。 中華聖母傳教中心和光啟中文學校將在 2025-2026 學年舉辦以下宗教教理課程。我們仍在為某些待定課程尋找老師。
